Launch of Domestic Violence Handbook for Clergy and Pastoral Workers
Thursday 11 November 2010The Handbook was launched on 11 November 2010 by Most Rev Philip Wilson, Chairman of Heads of Christian Churches of South Australia, with a response from Hon Gail Gago MLC, Minister for the Status of Women.

Domestic violence and abuse are issues that affect many people and occur both in Church communities and in the wider community. This handbook is an introduction to increase the understanding of clergy and pastoral workers and to support them in responding to individuals and families who are experiencing domestic violence and abuse.
