Refugee & Migrant Sunday - Gathering ideas for Resources

SA Council of Churches invites you to come along and share in generating ideas for resources that may assist congregations/schools/church agencies/home groups/fellowships etc in relation to Refugee and Migrant Sunday (which occurs this year on 30 August 2009).

In the past the resources have been prepared through National Council of Churches in Australia. This year is an opportunity for us to prepare something locally.  Are you interested? Please come along on Friday 8 May 10-11.30 at SACC Offices, 65 Flinders St, Adelaide.

We are particularly interested in preparing something in the light of the current discourse on asylum seekers and the diverse feelings that are evoked across the community.

Looking forward to hearing from you and to listening to your ideas!
