World Council of Churches to Adelaide on 14 October 2016

SA Council of Churches is delighted to let you know that Rev Dr Olav Fyske Tveit, the General Secretary of the World Council of Churches (WCC), will visit Adelaide on Friday 14 October 2016.
A programme of events, including:
      Lecture/Presentation by Rev Dr Olav Fyske Tveit
      Panel Conversation with SA Church Leaders including Bishop Tim Harris [Anglican], Dr Deidre Palmer [Uniting], Archbishop Philip Wilson [Roman Catholic], and Bishop Suriel [Coptic Orthodox]
will be held between 10.30am 3.15pm on 14 October at St Mary and Anba Bishoy Coptic Orthodox Church, 18 Goldfinch Ave, Cowandilla.

SACC Annual General Meeting

The Reformation
Next year, 2017, we commemorate 500 years since the Reformation.  Member Churches will take time to consider the Reformation, for learning and for conversation, at SACC AGM on Saturday 19 November 2016, 9am-1pm, at Australian Lutheran College, North Adelaide.  We invite all to place the date of the AGM in your diary and to let us know if you are interested in coming along contact Geraldine Hawkes sacc@picknowl.com.au
